After 12 months of anticipation, the World’s best female surfers will return to Honolua Bay, Maui, this week for the first event of the @wsl World Championship Season.

We’re excited to cheer on Western Australia’s finest, Bronte Macaulay, current world number two, Caroline Marks, 7x World Champ Stephanie Gilmore, and young Hawaiian talent, Bettylou Sakura Johnson, who has earned a spot in the lineup as a wildcard.

This event kicks off the new World Surf League tour format, an 11-stop season that could see Stephanie Gilmore claim an 8th World title or Caroline Marks claiming her first, not to mention it’s all in preparation for the upcoming Olympic Games in July.

Tune into the @wsl broadcast for all the live action, and make sure you’re following our Instagram Stories for all the behind the scenes #GoGirls fun from Honolua Bay!
