What’s your favourite Australian Beach and why?

Where do I even begin? The coastlines of Australia are full of unique and beautiful bays, points, and islands. If I had to choose, my favourite would have to be Broken Head a few kilometers out from the town of Byron Bay. When I was little, my family and some friends would camp and surf the point out the front. Peeling right-handers all day, this is the place I fell in love with surfing. I remember my dad pushing me in and I’d have the biggest smile on my face, I even caught my first barrel here. I love the memories I’ve made here and it’s always special coming back.

What are some of your favourite On The Beach accessories by ROXY?

The ROXY on the beach collection would have to be one of my favourites. The Can Be Cool Turkish towel comes on all my adventures. Surf comps, road trips, and beach days this towel doesn’t leave my side.

What are your go-to must-haves for a beach day?

Beach days are definitely my favourite kind of days, especially in Summer! Endless waves all day calls for a good quiver. I love to mix it up from my everyday shortboard and ride my twin fin and if it’s flat I’ll take out my longboard. In between waves, I love to soak up some sun, best spent with some good company under an umbrella with some tunes playing on a speaker. Of course, you’ve got to look good too, if you know me, you’ll know I bring far too many bikinis for a beach day. I love being able to look back at these days, so my film camera is always in my beach bag to capture some good times.

Where would your next Australian beach holiday be?

I’ve always loved the idea of traveling around Australia, having no set plan of where I’m heading and making stops along the way to surf and explore new places.
