"This is definitely the most exciting world title race I've ever been in my career, to have everybody so close chasing for this years world title is so nerve racking but so exciting for the fans and for all of the surfers involved. I've had such a great time in Europe, I really loved being back at the Roxy Pro in France but I didn't get the result I hoped for. It's been so nice to come down to Portugal and finish the European leg really strong and take this win in Portugal. It was always going to be a difficult final against Sally, she's been on fire all event and she's so an incredibly talented and works so hard to win these event, so it feels really good to beat her and move into the number 1 spot on the ASP tour rankings" said Stephanie.
