Vahine Fierro wins the World Pro Junior Surfing Title in Kiama, Australia.

Vahine was a standout performer throughout the whole event taking down big names all week, and eventually meeting fellow team ROXY girl, Summer Macedo in the final. Vahine was referred to as a dark horse throughout the whole event being relatively unknown, but didn’t miss a beat and also didn’t lose one heat. The young girl who grew up on the island of Huahine showed she could match it amongst the world stage.

"This is such an amazing way to end my Junior career and kick off my 2018 season," Fierro said. "This is the first time I have been to the World Junior Championship and to win is so special, especially when I was so close to missing out on the event.

Congratulations to both ROXY girls Vahine and Summer for making waves amongst the world's best and best of the luck in the future :)
