The Dingle Peninsula has become a popular surfing destination for surfers. Inch Beach, is one of Ireland’s most consistent breaks year-round and a safe bet for waves.

The average water temperature is a chilly 55 degrees so don’t forget to bring a wetsuit! We also suggest bringing a pair of booties to protect your feet from the rocky underwater terrain!

STAY

Situated in the heart of Dingle, The Benners Hotel is the ideal base camp to enjoy the city of Dingle and its surrounding areas. The location is ideal for relaxing after a long day of surfing, as everything is within walking distance. Plus, how can you not fall in love with Dingle’s brightly painted shops and pubs!?

When you’re not surfing, rent a car and explore the beautiful rugged coastline and countryside. Our car of choice? A vintage 1980’s Land Cruiser!

If you want to experience the drive of a lifetime, head up Slea Head Drive for breathtaking views of the Blasket Islands. The drive up Slea Head Drive takes about an hour, but make sure to give yourself a little extra time to make a couple pit stops along the way! There are a variety of cafes, villages & castles along the way!

While you’re driving, don’t miss the winding pathway leading to the Dunquin Pier. Trust us, it’s pretty hard not to miss the rugged cliffs and picturesque narrow winding pathway down to the pier!

After a long day of adventuring, stop by Dick Mack’s Homestead to enjoy a late-night treat. A leather shop by day and Irish pub by night, Dick Mack’s is a favorite amongst visitors and locals. Grab a pint or a Hot Toddie (Monyca Eleogram’s favorite), and watch the artisans’ leather creations come to life.
